■ What is B Corporation?
An international system that certifies performance at a world-class level for society and the natural environment while pursuing profit.
Volunteers and non-profit organizations cannot be certified, as they must meet that standard at the core of their business operations.
Officially linked with the United Nations, which is also the SDGs dissemination organization, it is a certification system benchmarked by global top runners such as companies, finance, and government.
■ We and B Corporation
Since our founding by Kenji Nakamura, our representative, and Shixiong Zhang, our factory manager, we have set up our headquarters factory in Adachi Ward, one of the 23 wards of Tokyo. While collaborating with various companies such as material manufacturers, we mainly manufacture bags and accessories, as well as industrial materials, and we have always wanted to be a top runner in the world. In 2021, the year of the corona disaster, Kosuke Okada (Representative of SISON'S Co., Ltd.), who later became an outside director, introduced a comprehensive management reform for the existence and certification of B Corporation, and officially acquired certification in July 2023. I was.
Since its founding, through various global issues such as the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy, the Great East Japan Earthquake, the corona crisis, Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the climate crisis, economic disparity, and the situation where the SDGs must be achieved, we have learned about "human virtue through management" and "How can we compete and contribute to the world as late-starting manufacturers, engineers, and machinists?”, I strongly feel that the practice of stakeholder capitalism, B Corporation, is the way to continue to pursue our policy.
